You're craving something sweet, maybe savory but definitely naughty! Skip the "low-fat" or "fat-free" and go for the REAL thing!

We’ve been so brainwashed to believe that fat is bad, that we’ve neglected to remember how bad sugar and salt are.

Low fat and fat-free snacks and foods are loaded with extra sugar and salt to make up for the taste they are lacking. This makes them more dangerous than your full-fat varieties. Not to mention that they won’t satisfy your cravings. People on average eat 40% more of something that they think is low-fat or fat-free.

THE REAL THING…

Fat isn’t as bad for you as you think (in fact, your body needs GOOD fats to survive), but sugar and salt are. Digesting fat is far less taxing on your body compared to what your body and organs have to go through to deal with the sugar and salt.

Your body needs fat. If you’re having a craving, it’s better to satiate it with the real deal rather than something that will have you coming back for more faster than you can close the freezer.  Skip the low-fat and fat-free hype and treat yourself to just a bit of the real thing.
