No, not that grass.... Wheatgrass!

Wheatgrass  may look a little funky (its green, served in a shotglass, and won’t be getting you tipsy), but the little superfood can do wonders for your body: it can detox your liver, protect your immune system, and make your skin glow.

Feeling tired? Had too many drinks at happy hour last night? Fighting off that nasty flu bug that’s circulating around your office? Here is why you need a shot of WHEATGRASS:

  •  Chlorophyll has a remarkable similarity to the hemoglobin in our blood (the stuff that carries oxygen to our cells). This makes wheatgrass very easily and almost immediately assimilated into our systems. This is why you’ll feel an energy rush shortly after having a shot!
  •  Wheatgrass contains astounding amounts of vitamins and minerals. The energy boost is incredible. The compounds in wheatgrass build up your red blood cell count (more oxygen), help produce enzymes (which aid in digestion and detoxification of your  whole body), may lower high blood pressure, and restores alkalinity to the blood and body which protects us from disease – this is some kickass grass!
