It's officially cold and flu season!

We know this because we have started noticing the overwhelming amount of sniffly, sneezy, phlegmy, coughy people EVERYWHERE…

This is how it starts: You’re on the subway, packed like sardines in the morning rush and it happens.  You’re online at the grocery store and it happens. You’re at the gym and it happens. The guy / girl next to you starts coughing or sneezing and BAM! You feel those germs glomming on to you, exploring the nooks and crannys of your nasal membranes. Panic sets in. A few days later that first sneeze, cough, shiver….you’re feeling the beginnings of a cold or flu. Arrrgghh!!

How can you avoid becoming another sickly statistic? Arm your body with the ammunition it needs to fight off the cold and flu viruses, from all those carrier humans rubbing up against you in the subway and surrounding you in your everyday life.

Here’s the cocktail:

  • Ester C 1000mg – 3x a day: This is the “food” your cells need to fight off viruses and bacteria.
  • Echinacea: Stimulates your immune system to create more white blood cells, T-Cells, and macrophages – a.k.a your body’s immune defense army. Best to buy in liquid form. Take 30 drops in warm water 1x a day for defense, 3x a day if you’re sick. Dr. Richard Schulze has an amazing organic Echinacea.
  • Goldenseal: Is a powerful antimicrobial and antiviral herb. It stimulates your immune system to produce more white blood cells and can be gargled with to help cure a sore throat. Either buy in tea, capsules, or liquid. Follow directions, as each kind has a different concentration to it.
  • Vitamin D: 5,000 mgs daily from a whole-food supplement source like Garden of Life.

Top all this off with a FRESH juice combo of Carrot, Ginger and Garlic and your invisible defense shield is ready to go! Icky carrier humans be damned!
