The secret is a small addition to your workout...

If you keep your heart rate up between strength training sets at the gym, you’ll burn more fat. And it ain’t that hard, either.

Add a cardio twist to your routine and you’ll see and feel the results soon enough.

FEEL THE BURN

In between your strength training sets, during your “rest” period, add a cardio twist: jumping jacks, push-ups, squat jumps, or simply running/walking in place for the count of 30. The move  you choose should depend on your fitness level. If you’re a beginner, simply walk in place for 30 seconds. If you’re advanced, try squat jumps. You should feel challenged, but not like you’re going to drop. This simple technique will keep your heart rate up in the fat burning zone throughout your workout, and help you burn more calories. The result? More fat burned during your workout and throughout the day! Woohoo!
