So we've eaten ourselves into oblivion and drank ourselves into liver failure...

The best thing you can do for yourself today is to help your body clean up the mess you made yesterday and get it in shape for round two aka: Christmas and New Year’s.

Today grab a coconut water and replace a meal or two with a fresh veggie juice from your local juice bar.

DIGESTION 101

Digestion takes the most energy out of any process in the body, and that’s on a good “I’ve been eating really healthy” day. Toss in high amounts of fats, sugars, alcohols, and more food than one person should eat in a day – all in one sitting – and you’ve just handed your body a massive clean up job. Unless you want to feel crappy and tired for the next few days, you need to give your digestive system a break.

Right now, your body is flooded with enzymes trying to process all the crap you’ve put in it. Keeping what it needs and trying to get rid of what it doesn’t. You can really help it along by having a fresh veggie juice. The nutrients in the veggie juice will help flush your liver and kidneys while refreshing the rest of your body. Veggie juice takes almost no energy to digest, so your system can focus on the clean up and not another crappy meal.
